About PureMomentum
Pure Momentum is a systematic U.S.-equity growth portfolio that seeks to capture the momentum premium by investing only in stocks displaying strong, sustained price leadership. Each month it allocates up to 98 % of capital across 40–50 large- and mid-cap companies that meet strict liquidity criteria, aiming to deliver attractive risk-adjusted returns without the complexity of short selling or leverage.
The strategy screens all U.S. shares tradable on eToro, keeping those with market-capitalisation above USD 2.5 billion and average daily volume over 10 million shares. From this pool it selects the highest-ranked names according to eToro’s proprietary momentum score—derived from price action and anonymised client-flow data—and weights them equally to maintain diversification and avoid single-stock concentration.
